This is a General Admission event held in the Groundswell Cafe in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa 1 block from the Ampitheater.

Get ready to raise your voices and lift up others at the first Mental Health Concert in the area focused on putting a positive outlook on mental health. Unite together to enjoy live performances from Some Kind of Nightmare (California), 319s Finest (Iowa), and Jake Stack (Iowa). This event is being paid for by Nexus Entertainment Arts as part of its initiative to support the well being of young people in Linn County.
Partnering with local wellness organizations, this event offers open conversations surrounding mental health and provides a safe space for connection to resources. Amidst the music, between songs and sets, there will be speakers describing their mental health journeys, victories and their organizations.

Jake Stack is an Iowa local singer songwriter. His music blends elements of punk, folk, and indie rock to create unique heartfelt songs. Some Kind of NIghtmare is an American punk rock band that started playing across the midwest. Nexus Entertainment Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and assistance to young creatives. It gives young people in transition the opportunities to learn, grow and express their voices through exciting project based initiatives which benefit Linn County.
